Upward Sports Ministry

                  
 
               Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Registration
starts September 1st 
 
Cost: $65.00 before October 11th
      $75.00 after October 11th
 
Cost includes: (for basketball) reversable jersey, shorts, car magnet, end of the year award
                             (for cheerleading) cheer top, skort, 2 pom-poms, winners magazine, megaphone, face decals,
                             mock turtleneck and end of the year award
 
Registered players will attend one of the three evaluation nights
 
Evaluation Nights:
 
Monday October 18 – K5 and 1st Grades Boys and Girls at First Assembly of God
Tuesday October 19 - 2nd and 3rd Grade Boys and Girls at First Assembly of God
    Thursday October 21 - 4th thru 6th Grade Boys and Girls at First Assembly of God
 
Players may attend any evaluation night
 
  1. Evaluations take place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
  2. Depending on number being evaluated – total evaluation time should be less than 30 minutes.
  3. Every player must attend one of the evaluation nights
  4. Teams are formed based on evaluation night results- this attempts to form equal teams.
  5. Teams will be drafted from the whole pool of participants.
Practices and  Game Dates
  1. Practices begin the week of November 15th
  2. Games will be played on the following dates: December 4, December 11, January 8, January 15, January 22, January 29, February 5, February 12
